About The Role

To act as an NPG  authorised Jointers Mate within the Power Networks department.


ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

As part of your day to day role, you are responsible for the following;

  • To deliver works on DNO electrical assets as defined in the host DNO’s policies & procedures to
    time, cost & quality standards.
  • Provide support for craftsmen operating on DNO assets
  • Timely and accurately reporting of incidents and accidents
  • Carry out site specific risk assessments on a daily basis
  • Quality & safety are maintained at all times on site
  • Attend safety and team briefs
  • Fill in timesheet correctly and hand in on a timely basis
  • Ensure vehicle, tools and PPE are maintained correctly

Key Accountabilities:

  • The safety of both Linbrooke employees and clients/public who may come into contact with
    our day to day operations
  • Incident, close call and near miss reporting for operatives within their charge
  • Day to day management of both Linbrooke and its sub-contract resource whilst working on our
    behalf
  • The safe operational delivery of works as defined by the Resources Manager
  • Carry out daily site specific risk assessments
  • Accurate and timely reporting of completion of works onsite including

Monday to Friday with weekend working
