How do I create a recruiter account?

Click the ‘Register as a Recruiter’ button in the top right-hand corner of the ‘Home Page’, complete the form and submit. To protect our job seekers all recruiter registrations are validated prior to activation. We will contact you within 24 hours to discuss your registration.

Once activated you can buy job credits to post your vacancies and you can search job seeker CVs.

How long are my job adverts live?

The maximum time that a standard your advert will be live is 30 days. You can choose to reduce this time and to close the advert earlier. You can also choose to repost the advert again at the end of the period either as an exact replica or with adjustments.

You can edit the advert at any time within the 30-day period.

Can I search for candidate CVs?

Yes, recruiters can search for candidate CVs. Many job seekers are happy to use this service to help them to form connections with recruiters. To view the detailed profile of any candidate including their contact details and CV documents you will have to purchase CV search credits. There is no charge for undertaking an anonymous candidate search.

If you choose to use a credit to buy a CV and profile we request that you only use this for the purposes of recruitment and that you only store the information for as long as you require it, more information is available in our terms and conditions and privacy notice. 

How long do my credits last?

Job advert credits and CV search credits can be used anytime within 12 months of the date of purchase.

If you have a monthly recruiters plan your credits will reset each month in line with the terms of your agreement. To discuss monthly recruitment plans, which offer the best value for larger organisations and recruitment agencies, please call us on 01482 782287.

Is it possible to register more than one user on my recruiter account?

Yes, once your recruiter account is activated you can set up and manage multiple users from your ‘dashboard’. Unlike some other service providers we do not charge anything extra for additional users.

However, any additional users must work at the registered business and additional users must agree to abide by the terms of the service. Every user can buy and use job advert and CV posting credits so you must be certain that you only provide access to trusted colleagues.

Can you help to give my advert additional exposure?

Yes, we offer a range of services to help recruiters fill their vacancies quickly. In addition to standard job posts we offer featured job posts along with a range of services designed to give your job post a boost.

Can I set up candidate alerts?

Yes, you can set up email alerts to notify you when new job seekers fitting your requirements become available. You can set up and manage alerts in your dashboard.

How do I create a job seeker account?

Click the ‘Register as a job seeker’ button in the top right-hand corner of the ‘Home Page’, complete the brief registration form and submit to set up your account. You can choose to add to the information collected when you register in your profile to help recruiters find you and to best understand your experience and skills.

Once your account is registered you can apply for jobs, set up job alerts and recruiters will be able to find you and match you to their jobs unless you alter your settings to cease participation in this service.

I don’t have a CV can you help me to create one?

Yes, if you do not have a CV, click ‘build CV’ when you register.

You will also find helpful tips about how to create a great CV on our ‘Careers advice’ page, You can also choose to undertake a free CV review with CV Writers, by clicking on any of the banners on the website. This is a third party service operated by a highly experienced and professional CV writer.

Can I have multiple CVs attached to my account?

Yes, you can have multiple CVs attached to your account and you can choose which one to use when you apply for a job. Some candidates find it is useful to tailor their CV to specific jobs that they are applying for.

You can add and delete CVs at any time in your ‘dashboard’. Remember any CV you submit should be accurate and it will be shared with potential employers unless you opt out of our CV search service.

How do I apply for a job?

In order to apply for a job you must register. Once registered you can apply for any jobs by clicking ‘Apply for this job now’ on the relevant advert.

In some instances you might be taken to a recruiter site to complete the application process.

Can recruiters see my profile and CV?

This is entirely up to you. You can control whether recruiters are able to see your profile and CV. Many candidates choose to allow recruiters to find and contact them.

Information in your profile and your CVs can be seen and downloaded by recruiters when you provide permission, providing accurate and comprehensive information will enable recruiters to find you more easily.

Can I set up job alerts?

Yes, you can set up email alerts to notify you when new jobs fitting your specification become available. You can set up and manage alerts in your dashboard.

I have forgotten my password, can I reset it?

If you forget your password, click ‘forgotten password’ when you try to log in. A link will be sent to your registered email address. Remember to check in your junk and SPAM folders if the link does not appear in your inbox.

You can also choose to login using social networks. If you continue to experience difficulties, please contact us.
