A recruitment platform that helps build a bright future for the railways

Rail Recruiter has launched – delivering a new modern way of bringing the best people to the best companies in the industry.

The new jobs site was built in collaboration with the rail industry and the recruitment agencies that support them.

The result is a fresh and intuitive way for recruiters to find the talent they need, and it is also a way for those already working in the rail industry – or who want to do so – to find their perfect rail job.

Dean Bruce is managing director of Rail Recruiter. He says that although they did their homework, the team has been bowled over by the very positive response from the rail industry as it launched. “We expected it to go well because our research indicated that there was a big gap in the market, but so far, the level of interest has exceeded our expectations. We’re only a few weeks old, but already we have some of the industry’s leading recruitment agencies and major employers on board.

“Working with the wider team has been invaluable; thanks to the connections, marketing power and sector experience that Business Daily Group has developed, we have been able to make a flying start,” Dean said.

“That momentum is something we will build upon. We will work closely with other businesses in the group to provide a comprehensive service to any organisation working in the rail industry; finding the talent they need to be successful is a natural addition to the existing proposition.”

The timing has never been more important. Rail is building back after COVD restrictions were lifted, and it is looking to an exciting future with the Integrated Rail Plan and the establishment of Great British Railways. The result, however, is that the industry has never had to be quite as agile as it needs to be now. Consequently, there has never been a greater demand to tap the best talent before others reach out and recruit them.

Rail Recruiter was built on an appetite to make something fast, responsive and that continues to evolve to serve our customers,” said Dean.

“As businesses move and adapt to the changing industry landscape, we will be there, continuing to grow in a way that helps the sector thrive and build a bright future for the railways.”
