CML are a Principal Contractor, operating throughout England and Wales, delivering multidisciplinary buildings and civils projects for Network Rail and other infrastructure clients.

As an owner managed private company, CML has tailored its business to focus on the design and delivery of building and civil engineering solutions for the rail and infrastructure sector.

We have an excellent track record and take great pride in the work we do, with expertise in the reconstruction and refurbishment of buildings, structures and earthworks, specifically focused on the rail sector. CML has a breadth and depth of civil, structural and geotechnical engineering knowledge hard-won from a continuously expanding portfolio of successful projects. With a sustainable approach, focused on best value, safety and performance we undertake a range of projects from minor works to complex multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.

Operating from our head office in Leeds, and a further 7 office and industrial facilities spread throughout England and Wales, we provide national coverage and local strength for our rail clients. Recognised as one of the leading suppliers of railway maintenance and renewals works, we are currently working in partnership with Network Rail on all Routes in England and Wales.

CML maintains a highly trained, qualified, and experienced workforce that shares a commitment to safety performance, excellence, and customer satisfaction in all aspects of its operations. Recently we launched our successful Supervisors Training Programme. This 10-day programme is aligned with our Company Objectives and Core Values whilst supporting our front-line staff to influence and drive safety and performance on site.
