Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Temporary Track Engineer, to work on a light rail project based in Dudley. The role is due to start July 2024 for a duration of six months.


  • Carry out quality inspections and ensure work complies with safety and environmental requirements
  • Manage ITP and quality records
  • As built and red lines

Role Requirements

Ideal candidate would have the following, (not all required as training can be provided):

  • Renewals experience, Plain line and S&C (Essential)
  • Trimble Total Station, setting out (Essential)
  • 3D Dozing using Trimble TBC (Essential)
  • Understands geometry (Essential)
  • Stressing Level 1 -2 (Preferred)
  • Tamping Win ALC (Preferred)
  • Strong computing skills - Excel / Word
  • Knowledge of NWR standards
  • PWI Diploma / Advanced technician qualification or above
  • Valid PTS and CSCS
