Due to increased workload we are seeking to recruit a Signalling Design Engineer. The successful candidate will undertake and oversee production of Civil design, leading a dedicated Civil design engineering team. In addition, they will manage the Civil and Structural elements of a complete project.
Being an experienced Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll have the chance to focus on the parts of your role you most enjoy. In a typical week you will:
• Carry out design and assessment work for signalling elements of projects with minimal supervision
• Keep up to date with current NR, RSSB and British standards relevant to signalling design
• Prepare design and assessment reports and produce mark ups and sketches for CAD technicians
• Communicate effectively with other design/construction disciplines and sub-contractors
We want to hear from you if:
• A current IRSE Signalling Design License
• Previous experience of Signalling control systems
• Knowledge of interfaces between signaling/system engineering and other railway disciplines and how these are managed
• The ability to use the design software in the discipline (CAD etc)
