Situation

Ford & Stanley are currently parented with an award-winning Train Operating Company who run services in Greater London and surrounding areas. They are currently looking to hire a Senior Train Planner to produce long term timetables, resource allocation plans, and work closely with Network Rail to ensure all timetables can be delivered and approved. They require someone with a strong planning background within the rail industry to join the team, take ownership of high-level responsibilities and react proactively and reactively to a range of factors. By joining a boutique team, your role will be very well varied, allowing you to focus on resource allocation, long term timetabling and timing, rollingstock and train crew diagramming.

Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Train Planner who is looking to take a step up into a Senior Position. You will be working with some of the industry’s most state-of-the-art systems that enable the company to plan their timetables and continue to be one of the most reliable TOC’s in London. By joining a smaller team, your role will be very well varied and diverse which allows you to build your technical expertise. Located out of Central London with hybrid working practices, you will join a close knitted team in a modern office space.

Salary

£40,000 - £45,500

  • Hybrid working – 3 days onsite per week
