We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage a commercial team within a successful, established and growing company with works predominantly in Rail Civils.
The dynamic role will require you to manage and develop client relationships in a fast paced, busy environment whilst always maintaining the highest standards. Experience in rail civils is essential for this role, alongside the ability to lead a team.
- Responsibility for numerous projects
- Management of staff to include development and advice
- Supplying reports to senior management as required
- Monitoring compliance
- Recording and logging correspondence
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients
- Attending relevant meetings
- Carrying out periodic reviews on projects
- Preparing and submitting valuations and applications for payment
- Identifying any risks and opportunities
- Assisting, monitoring and overseeing the production of final accounts
- Other duties as expected with this kind of role
Skills and Experience
Experience in a similar role rail, ideally with working within NR Civils Works is advantageous
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications suitable to the role are required along with workplace experience, be it HND, HNC or Degree.
