The Civils & Infrastructure Team at Ford and Stanley Group
are proud to be working in partnership with a leading Civil Engineering Specialist in the London Area.

The Role

Our client is seeking experienced Civil Engineering Professionals, to work in their Infrastructure Engineering team, across a variety of sectors, including Rail, Highways and Maritime.

Our candidates will have an interesting and varied portfolio of Projects/Structures to work on, that can encompass, Design, Demolition, Inspection/Assessment/Analysis, & Construction.

These projects could include Station Developments, AFA Schemes, Bridge Design/Strengthening/Repairs, Retaining Walls, Canopies/Roof works, and New build (Residential and Commercial), to name a few.

There will be a blend of both planned, and reactive/urgent works, the majority of the current work bank being within the Rail Sector, so rail sector experience is a must.

These roles will require a solid blend of both managerial experiences, and technical know-how. We are looking for candidates that are able to manage and develop key client relationships and manage their own workload, operating with a high degree of autonomy.

These candidates will alleviate pressure on the Associate Director-level staff within the business unit, allowing them to focus on more business development orientated activities, which will be crucial for the client’s growth plans.

Salary/Benefits:

Senior: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Principal: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a relevant, Structural/Civil Engineering role. (Essential)
  • Previous rail sector experience. (Essential)
  • Previous experience operating as a CRE. (Desirable)
  • Chartered status, or near to. (Essential)
  • Prior line management experience. (Desirable)
  • A good level of commercial awareness, e.g., profit & loss, budgeting, contract management. (Desirable)
  • Previous experience operating within a consultancy environment.(Desirable)
