If you are, then my client would like to talk to you. Due to an increase in Network Rail project work, we are looking for a Civil Design Engineer to add more expertise to the team. The key objectives of this role is to design, detail and produce technical drawings for successful approval of rail civil infrastructure constructions. They are working on projects that cover Signalling Civils enabling works including level crossings, Power enabling works, OLE Foundations and Temporary Works.
For this role you ill need to be able to demonstrate -

A degree in civil or structural engineering.

A structural engineer experienced in the design and detail of substructure and superstructure solutions in a railway environment.

An ability to work as part of an integral part of the design team and undertake instructions from the Civils Design Manager.

Articulate with excellent communication skills: able to explain reasoning to a wider audience and adjust approach where needed to take a wider perspective.

Safety critical position (PTS) – good, practical health and safety awareness.

Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
