QEHS Manager

We are currently recruiting for a QEHS Manager to join the Asset Management side of our business and be based from our office near Canning Town, this will be a hybrid role that requires flexibility as there will also be a requirement to work nights. Every time you pick up the phone, surf the Internet, travel on a motorway, catch a train, bus or tube, or even dial 999; chances are telent have enabled the technology to make this happen.

QEHS Manager Fire Key Requirements:

  • Promote a positive QEHS culture to stakeholders and employees.
  • Knowledge and experience of Behavioural Based Safety Practices
  • Previous experience of working in a fire maintenance environment
  • Must have extensive Rail knowledge; London Underground, London Overground, Crossrail/Elizabeth Line
  • Hold a recognised industry Health and Safety qualification, e.g. NEBOSH General or equivalent
  • Experience of developing working relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and suppliers - essential
  • Previous internal auditing experience
  • Have a full UK driving licence.

What you’ll do: 

  • Review and develop fire safety related policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Help to plan, implement, monitor and review the protective and preventative measures that are identified by the hazard analysis and risk assessment process for our Fire maintenance contract.
  • Outline safe operating procedures, which identify and take account of all relevant hazards, and conducting suitable and sufficient risk assessments, ensuring Control measures are effective (fire detection/fire suppression)
  • Deliver and drive the agreed QEHS Fire Key Performance Indicators.                                    

QEHS Manager Fire, Who you are:

The successful person will have previous QEHS expertise, along with London Underground and/or Rail industry experience.
