Programme Secretariat required to work on Major Rail Upgrade Project in the North.
10 Years Programme of Works.
Project offices in Manchester/York/Leeds. The role is Hybrid and able to work from any of the office locations.
12 Months initially (Inside IR35), with the role required for the duration of the programme.
Rate negotiable depending on relevant experience around £250.00 - £300.00 PAYE Per Day.
Support the efficient and effective operation of the Programme Governance Committees to the highest standards of corporate governance, with regard to both internal and external requirements.
Maintain and manage robust management processes and records which provide a clear audit trail of decisions and actions made in key governance reviews on the programme, confirm senior staff are made aware of committee decisions and that progress of completion of actions is monitored and reported back to committees
Essential Skills Required:
•Excellent writing and proof-reading skills and attention to detail.
•Experience of the ability to minute and record complex meetings in a timely manner.
•Experience of arranging and preparing for senior level meetings, including liaising with Directors, preparing agendas, minutes and papers and despatching documentation to senior leaders on time and in accordance with policy and procedures
•Self-motivated and pro-active team player, willing to become involved in the varied and
busy workload of the team.
•Excellent IT skills: proficient user of Excel, and quick and confident user of Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.
•Good communicator with an ability to connect with internal and external stakeholders.
