We are currently recruiting for PMO Coordinator to join our Projects team within Manchester.
As a PMO Coordinator, you will support the Projects Team in the administration and maintenance of accurate records, documentation, and systems in full accordance with Project Management System (PMS).
Working under the direction of the Head of PMO, this role will aid larger KAM projects and take on project management of small projects as directed.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Contribute to the delivery of a high performing team through ensuring objectives, standards and key performance indicators are met
- Contribute to building an inclusive culture, taking a zero-tolerance approach to behaviours and attitudes that go against the FREDIE culture, escalating matters to management when appropriate
- Ensure own health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace, ensuring the zero harm principles and just culture is demonstrated in all ways of working
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and standards
- Provide support to the Projects team, ensuring accurate and timely data is input and monitored in assigned systems
- Ensure records, registers and documentation is controlled and managed
- Provide support and governance for projects and programmes
- Coordinate and support project meetings with both internal and external parties, ensuring actions and minutes are recorded
- Prepare ad-hoc reports, presentations and data as required
- Engage with key Internal stakeholders providing project support and Input as assigned by the Head of PMO and Programme
- Take responsibility for small projects as assigned by the Head of PMO and Programme
What you’ll bring:
- Knowledge of the heavy/light rail sector (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and Interpersonal Interactions)
- Good analytical skills
- Good organisation and planning
- Able to easily foster and develop relationships (internally and externally)
- Comfortable in the use and application of MS Office (Which must include as a minimum Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Proven previous experience in the support to others in the delivery of projects
- Knowledge and experience in the application of project management principles
- Recognised PM qualification e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation or willingness to work towards
