Role: Plant / Mechanical Fitter

Location: East midlands

Salary: 150 to 180 per day PAYE plus holidays, pension, work van and fuel card

Start Date: As soon as possible

Rare opportunity to join a well known civil engineering contractor who are well on track with an ambitious growth plan to double their rail department's turnover within the next 4 years

Role Description: With a well established brand and history in it's field my client, a specialist civil engineering contractor, is looking to add to their Plant Mechanic/Mechanical Fitting team in the East Midlands. The role will include servicing, fault finding and repairs across plant and equipment and responsibility for routine preventative maintenance. The role delivers a diverse working month, with a split between time at the depot, full weeks based on sites across the country and occasional weekend on call shifts at a substantially upturned overtime rate.

Remuneration: On offer is a daily PAYE rate of 150- 180 dependant on experience + overtime, 22 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, pension contribution, van and fuel card + additional benefits alongside an opportunity for career growth and development.

Required Experience: To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have experience operating as Mechanical Fitter or Plant Mechanic within a similar field. Experience working on Hydraulics and Diesel Engines and any experience directly with Plant and Heavy Machinery advantageous.
