Job Description

The Opportunity
Mechanical Fitter required in the Boldon area to jump into a permanent work opportunity working with Formula 1 and Motorsport component manufacture and maintenance

Location(s):
Tyne & Wear, Boldon, Sunderland, Newcastle

Role and Responsibilities

  • Repair, refurbishment and maintenance within a engineering environment
  • Using a variety of hand and power tools to conduct maintenance activities
  • MIG and TIG welding activities when required

The Candidate

  • Have an interest in hands-on, mechanical and maintenance work
  • Be willing to learn, and fully embrace the training process
  • Be able to take on board instructions and work safely as part of a team

Essential

  • Previous experience in a mechanical workshop environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Willing to fully embrace training and progression offered internally

Desirable

  • MIG / TIG welding experience
  • Heat exchange unit or Cooling System maintenance experience
