Maintenance Operative

Job Description

Labourer required to carry out general handyperson tasks on one of the largest and busiest Rail Depots in the UK.

With a flexible approach to work as no two days will be the same, you will be given an individual training plan in order to be able to turn your hand to electrical, mechanical and general labouring tasks, both working in a team and independently.

Location:

Wolverton, Milton Keynes

Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and light repairs.
  • Perform routine landscaping on the grounds.
  • Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.)
  • Undertake light installation and working from heights.
  • Repair equipment or appliances.
  • Carrying out plumbing related tasks including installation and maintenance of appliances and pipes across the site.

The Candidate

  • Happy working outside in all weather conditions.
  • Capable of working in a team

Essential

  • Can do attitude and willing to turn your hand to any task.
  • Hands on experience completing similar tasks.

Desirable

  • Plumbing skills.
