An opportunity has arisen to join the Finance team as its Head of Group Accounting & Control.

As the Head of Group Accounting & Control, you will lead the department in delivering Eurostar Group's annual and half-year consolidated IFRS accounts, determining and ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting policies, fulfilling sustainability reporting requirements, and enhancing financial controls across the Group.


The position is located in our Kings Cross head office, which is situated in the heart of the vibrant and bustling city of London. Our office boasts a stunning and modern workspace that encourages collaboration and innovation.

We are looking for someone to... 

  • Deliver the annual audited and half year unaudited consolidated IFRS accounts of Eurostar Group
  • Determine the IFRS accounting policies for Eurostar Group and ensure compliance with these policies across the Group.
  • Support Eurostar Group’s sustainability reporting requirements for financial reporting
  • Monitor and improve the robustness of financial controls across Eurostar Group
  • Supervise a team consisting of 2 individuals: the Group Accounting Manager and the Financial Accountant


You'll need...

  • To be a Chartered Accountant (ICAS, ICAEW or equivalent)
  • Business School/University master’s degree in finance
  • Expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Accounting Standards particularly IFRS 9, 10, 15, 16 and IAS 12, 16, 19, 36, 37, 38.
  • Audit engagement management
  • Experince managing and leading individuals while also focusing on their development
