Job Description

As a General Foreman at CML you will always promote and work in a safe manner, following appropriate procedures and instructions at all times.

You will organise, motivate and supervise all site operatives and subcontractors, as well as identifying training needs and competencies of site operatives.

You will work on the Network Rail frameworks undertaking large scale Earthworks and scour jobs and have experience working on contracts with high value works.

You will be responsible for liaising with clients/ visitors in a professional manner, as well as carry out: inductions, site briefings of method statements, activities and daily inspections, recording any changes. This will include taking photographs and record and report additional works found to the Project Manager/ Site Manager, ensuring return to head office.

You will be required to get stuck in with other tasks when not utilising your skills/ trade, as a CML we strongly encourage teamwork band collaboration in order to ensure efficiency and completion.

Civils / Rail background
Preferred qualifications:

COSS / PIC (at least 5 years’ experience)
LKT / Site Warden
ES – Desirable
Other information:
• Travel and lodging will be required as the sites are nationwide
• Training & Development is provided and maintained by our T&D team
• Position is permanent / directly employed
