Bricklayer

We are looking for an experienced Bricklayer to work on the LNW Framework for Network Rail, based out of our depot in Sheffield.

As a Skilled Operative at CML you will always work in a safe manner following appropriate procedures and instructions at all times. This is a hands-on role, working outdoors in all weathers, carrying out general maintenance.

You will work on the LNW Framework for Network Rail, based from our depot in Wigan, undertaking railway maintenance work, including but not limited to, vegetation clearance and brickwork.

Operatives will need to be multi skilled as well as their trade as a bricklayer, ideally with the following:

You will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles materials, tools and plant equipment under your control are fit for use and are used, stored & disposed of correctly, with any defects to be reported immediately to H&S and / or your Manager.

Teamwork is key in delivering out works effectively, therefore when you aren’t required to use your daily skills/ trades on the job, you will be expected to undertake other reasonable duties to ensure collaboration in meeting deadlines.

Other information:
• Travel and lodging will be required if the sites are nationwide
• Training & Development is provided and maintained by our T&D team
• Position is permanent / directly employed
• Based from our office in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
