Great news, we are building our Bid Team and need a bright, proactive, confident person to join the team as a Bid Coordinator.
You don't need to have experience but must have English and Maths at an A level standard or equivalent and want to continue your studies via an Apprentice Degree in English or Business Studies.

Role Purpose
Your primary role is to support the bid function, reporting into the Bid Manager. You will support the coordination and development of responses to SQs (Standard Questionnaires, PQQs (Pre-Qualification Questionnaires), RFIs (Requests for Information), RFQs (Requests for Quotes) and ITTs (Invite To Tender).
Your Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing new opportunities sent to our Enquiries email address
- Logging new opportunities by creating records in our business development pipeline on SharePoint and creating new channels in MS Teams
- Submitting tender queries directly to the client or through their tender portal
- Updating the opportunity folder in the tender library with clarifications sent directly by the client or from tender portals and sharing the information with the bid team through the MS Teams channel
- Updating the business development pipeline when the status of the opportunity changes and entering the submitted price
- Supporting proposal planning and the scheduling of reviews
- Supporting the development of responses to supplier questionnaires (SQs), prequalification questionnaires (PQQs), requests for information (RFIs), requests for quotation (RFQs) and invitations to tender (ITTs)
- Managing tender portals including updating of passwords
- Managing the hand over of tender files to operations post award
Required Attributes, Behaviours and Skills
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English
- Numerate
- IT literate, intermediate level user of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation skills
- Skilled in editing copy to correct grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Team player and effective communicator
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines in high pressure situations
